Me & My Baby Workshops

Preparation for Labour and Birth
  • 4 hour session £185.00
  • Now run on individual basis, please contact us to book a suitable time for you

The confidence and knowledge gained before you go into labour can make an invaluable contribution to the way in which you and your partner experience your baby's birth.

Our Preparation for Labour and Birth workshop covers the period from 6 weeks before your due date until the first few hours after your baby is born. Learn ways in which birth partners may actively participate and provide support, information about the physiology of labour and have a clearer idea of what you can expect to experience on the day. Discuss the options of both non-medical and medical forms of pain relief to support you in making informed choices that are best for you and your baby.

We recommend joint attendance of you and your partner during the last trimester of your pregnancy. This session is highly recommended in conjunction with our HypnoBirthing workshop to give a complete antenatal course.
