Me & My Baby Workshops

Early Steps for a Healthier Pregnancy
  • 3 hour session £145.00
  • Now run on individual basis, please contact us to book a suitable time for you

The early stages of pregnancy can often be a time of many emotions, questions and concerns and antenatal classes in your third trimester can feel a very long way off. This practical and informative class will advise you on tips and tools to help you through the first few weeks or months. Suitable for mums-to-be from week 5 to 20.

This workshop introduces a number of areas to consider including

  • Place of Birth - the choices available to you and getting the best from your antenatal care
  • Testing and Scans - what to expect and what's routinely available or available privately
  • Looking after yourself and your baby - what to include rather than avoid. Diet and exercise ideas
  • When and why therapies such as massage, reflexology, osteopathy and acupuncture can be useful
  • When to think about birth preparation classes and what is generally covered.

This workshop may be run by either Lesley-Anne Kerr, Julie Krausz or Sarah Savaskan.

Lesley-Anne trained as an Active Birth teacher and is now a member of YogaBirth, regularly teaching antenatal and birth preparation classes and workshops.
