Baby Massage
Baby Massage classes can be a really fun and sociable experience for mum and baby and provide a good support network during the early weeks and months.
Learning techniques to massage your baby is a wonderful way to encourage your child’s growth and development and can help to alleviate birth trauma and other early infant anxieties.
Massage can be given from birth with gentle light strokes assisting your babies breathing and digestion and is a lovely way to help you “get in touch” with how your baby is feeling. We often recommended attending an initial class with your new baby to learn basic introductory techniques and meet other mums.
Developmental Baby Massage introduces techniques which will encourage your baby’s development and structural fitness but is both relaxing and fun for mum (and dads) and baby. Our classes help promote muscular coordination and flexibility, aid digestion and strengthen your baby’s immune system. Generally started from approx 6 – 8 weeks old and can continue through until 6 – 8 months.
Baby on the way?
We invite mums-to-be to join the class and learn more about what’s in store.
Baby Massage Classes for Dads are now arranged by appointment on a one-to-one basis.
